When Drew and I were in San Francisco, we wanted to go see the Golden Gate Bridge. We decided to go in the morning without realizing how foggy it would be. But I loved the fog. Walking through this trail seemed like walking in a dream.

My husband is the best! I was working late on Monday and when I got home, he had this whole meal prepared! It was sooooo good! As I mentioned before, Simply recipes is one of my favorite recipe sites online and when I wanted to find a quick recipes, I immediately searched their site. I liked that it did not require many ingredients and they are all easy to find. Drew said that it was pretty easy to put together and looks like something quite fancy! I think our only critique was that the remoulade was a little too limey. We both love avocados so for us it would have been better to let that flavor come through more. Otherwise, I fully recommend the recipe, which you can find here :)
Long Beach Antique Flea Market

Drew and I went to the Long Beach Flea Market last weekend. I’ve been interested in checking it out for awhile, just to browse. I have to say that it turns out I’m probably not the flea market kind of girl. Basically I wouldn’t ever buy anything there. However, it was fun to walk around and people watch :) I took some pics of the random stuff we saw.
*A note on the pictures, I am trying out the newest version of Lightroom, which is a photo organizing/editing software developed by Adobe. It’s not as powerful as photoshop, but much more intuitive to use and I’ve found some cool preset actions on the web that are like premade formulas for making changes to the picture to achieve certain effects, so it’s been fun to play around with those.
