It’s a little weird that we’ve been in graduate school long enough to start saying goodbye to some of our friends as they are graduating.  It’s exciting to see them successfully finish their thesis and find a job, but also a little bittersweet as they are leaving us.  Last week Kristina and Ramzi organized a Crayfish eating party (this is what people in Sweden do in August apparently) as sort of a going away party.  It was fun and while I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of crayfish (too much work for too little reward), it was an interesting new experience.  Good luck Kristina and Ramzi on your new adventures and come back to visit often!!
