Thai Nakorn and iphone pics

Last weekend, we finally got around to trying out what some say is the best thai place in Orange County, Thai Nakorn. We went to the Garden Grove location, and while I am no expert on Thai food, it was delicious. We went with our good friends Todd, Ruth, Kenny and Ruth’s Dad Marty who’s visiting. We ordered seven dishes and everyone was good. Clockwise from top left: whole friend trout with mango salad, barbeque beef, beef panang curry, and hot and sour soup. My favorite were the trout and the soup, although the panang curry was also super yummy. I wish this place was closer, 20 minutes to drive is just a tad far for it to be a regular place for us, but we’ll go back for sure!

I tried tumblr for a while, but it just wasn’t working out.
Their servers would go down, the template I liked was buggy, and in the end it just didn’t serve the purposes of this particular blog very well. SO! we’re back on wordpress! I’ll be editing this site a bit more in the coming days, but no major changes. If you subscribe to Things An Likes, have no fear, you don’t have to do anything as the feed address has not changed. Since word posts are boring, here are some photos on film of the Portland Japanese Garden.

A few months ago, I got a toy film camera. I put some iso400 film in it and just got it developed this week. I love the color saturation of film. Here are some shots of our LA trip to the observatory. Check back soon for pics from portland.
