adoramapix photo book review

I’m so excited to share this fabulous photo book source. When I was planning our wedding, one of my top priorities was the photography. Our budget was limited so I knew that even though I would love to have a professional photo album to display our photos, I had to use the money to hire the best photographer. Wedding albums from professional photographers can cost upwards of $1000, which is wayyyy beyond our budget. So, I set out to find something that, while would not be quite as amazing, it would be close and good enough for us to give to our parents as keepsakes from the wedding, while also being within our budget.
I looked at a bunch of different possible vendors, but Adoramapix set itself apart from the rest. I wanted true photo paper so that the pictures are vibrant and the texture is actually like holding photographs. I wanted quality that would last. And I wanted an album what would open flat, so that photos can span both sides of a spread. Adoramapix gave me everything I wanted. As a bonus, adoramapix books can also have a wraparound cover.
I got the 10×10 size with matte finish. It’s gorgeous! I love it. The photos came out so nice and the pages are thick and as you can see in the photos below, it opens totally flat so you can make photos span across the seam. I designed the spreads myself using their online flash program. I have to say, that was not the most fun. If I had a suggestion for Adoramapix, it would be to make their program a little more intuitive. The snap to grid function would be better if the grid lined up with the edges of the page and it would be helpful if they let you decide out big the photos should be based on inches. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not hard, but it’s definitely a multi-day project. So if you have wedding, birthday, graduation, or other photos and haven’t bothered to get an album, I highly recommend Adoramapix.
Below are some photos I took of our album. It makes me so so happy to look at these photos. I want to also credit our fabulous photographer Bonnie Tsang for documenting our wedding. Seriously, she was worth every penny, and if one day I get a real job and earn some real money, I would probably get a photo album through her vendor as I think they’ll be of even higher quality. But, if that never happens, I will be more than happy with this.
